Confidential in Horsham and surrounding areas is seeking experienced Support Workers to cover a range of health and social care services. You will support individuals with daily living, independence, and community participation across shift patterns including days and evenings.

We offer competitive hourly rates, weekly pay via BACS, holiday pay, and access to training with recognised certificates. A DBS check and a caring, patient approach are essential.

Formación

• Previous experience working as a Support Worker in health and social care settings.
• A valid Enhanced DBS covering both Child and Adult Workforce.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions or complex needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider care team.
• High levels of emotional resilience, patience and empathy.
• Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
• Flexible, reliable approach and commitment to promoting independence.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care across health and social care settings.
• Assist with daily living activities, promote independence and life skills.
• Support individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, complex needs and challenging behaviours.
• Build positive relationships with service users while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Help service users access the community, attend appointments and participate in meaningful activities.
• Encourage social inclusion, confidence and personal development.
• Respond to challenging situations with effective communication and de-escalation where needed.
• Follow individual care plans and safeguarding procedures; maintain accurate records.
• Ensure safety, dignity and wellbeing of the individuals at all times.
