Job summary

Midway Care Group in Willenhall is seeking a dedicated Female Support Worker for day shifts (8am–10pm). This full-time role offers exciting opportunities to work with adults with learning disabilities across the Midlands area. Driver preferred but not required.

You will support people in daily living activities, build meaningful relationships with residents and staff, and promote rights-based care within the community. Training and progression are funded by the employer.

Qualifications

• Desire to work with people and make a difference.
• Experience in care or strong values to care for people.
• Fully flexible across weekdays and weekends.
• Willing to support in home and local area.
• Happy to help with personal care.
• Moral and ethical standards, and a desire to work with dignity.
• Interested in future career paths into leadership roles.
• Willing to pursue funded qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support people in developing and maintaining daily living skills.
• Identify and meet the needs of those we care for.
• Develop and maintain relationships with people, team members and the local community.
• Encourage choices in keeping with the rights of people with a Learning Disability.
• Participate in and assist with defined care plans encouraging individuals to take an active role in all aspects of daily living.
