Job summary

Discovery is hiring a Support Worker in Westonzoyland to assist one woman and four men aged 50s–60s+ with profound physical and learning disabilities. The role involves hands-on care, mobility support, and meaningful daily activities in a busy residential home.

Shifts include early and late patterns; a full UK manual driving licence is essential as public transport links are limited. Discovery values compassion, teamwork and independence for those they support.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide full personal care including bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with medication administration and personal finances where required.
• Support residents with activities and ensure safety and dignity at all times.
