Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare in Dronfield is recruiting Support Workers to join a leading national social care provider on agency/temporary shifts, paying £12.71 per hour. Location: Dronfield (S18) with flexible ad hoc shifts (days, nights, weekends and bank holidays).

You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs, delivering person-centred care, assisting with daily living, and helping clients participate in the local community.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within health and social care is desirable but not essential.
• A compassionate and person-centred approach to support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is advantageous (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Delivering person-centred support that promotes independence and wellbeing.
• Assisting individuals with daily living activities and personal care where required.
• Supporting service users to participate in community activities, hobbies, and appointments.
• Encouraging choice, dignity, inclusion, and self-determination.
• Assisting with medication administration in line with service procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records and completing relevant documentation.
• Identifying and reporting safeguarding concerns appropriately.
• Building positive and professional relationships with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
