Job summary

Radis Community Care is recruiting a dedicated Support Worker for the new Extra Care Scheme Stirchley House in Telford. You will help residents with personal care, mobility and daily living tasks, while promoting independence and dignity.

You will support residents at mealtimes, attend social activities, and assist with mobility between dining areas, communal spaces and bedrooms. A kind, patient approach is essential in this rewarding role.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support work is preferred
• Ability to maintain privacy and dignity for residents
• Commitment to kindness, compassion and respect in all interactions

Responsibilities

• Assist elderly residents with personal care, mobility, and hygiene
• Support residents to dining areas, communal spaces and bedrooms as requested
• Facilitate social and recreational activities and provide encouragement and companionship
