Job summary

Voyage Care in Leicester is seeking a caring Support Worker to help people gain independence and improve their quality of life. Typical shifts are 7.30am to 2.30pm or 2.30pm to 9.30pm, with eligible uplift for evenings and weekends.

You will support daily living, teach life skills, assist with personal care and help individuals access local communities and activities. A full UK driving licence is preferred and you will work as part of a friendly team at Willowbrook.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and a caring, flexible attitude.
• Experience with autism, acquired brain injury, complex needs or challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily living.
• Teach life skills and assist with personal care.
• Encourage community access, socialising and activities.
• Support outings to restaurants, appointments, cinema or home leisure.
