Job summary

You will follow care plans, manage records, and work with families and professionals to safeguard wellbeing. DBS checks and right-to-work verification will be required, along with suitable qualifications such as

Qualifications

• Identity verification (passport, driving licence or equivalent)
• Right to work in the UK verification
• Enhanced DBS check including barred-list information where applicable
• Full employment history including gaps explained
• References from previous employment
• Certificates for any care/health and social care qualifications held (e.g., NVQ/QCF)
• Care Certificate

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.
• Support individuals with social and community activities.
• Follow individual care plans and risk assessments.
• Assist with medication in line with training and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and report concerns or changes in wellbeing.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and confidentiality procedures.
• Collaborate with families and other professionals.
• Attend training, supervision and team meetings as required.
