Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking hands-on Support Workers to improve the quality of life for the people we support in a residential service. You will help individuals gain independence, teach life skills, assist with personal care and enable community access, social activities and holidays.

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence required.
Candidates should be resilient, flexible and composed under pressure.
Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice is preferred.
Experience supporting individuals requiring enhanced support (distress, mental health, autism, forensic histories, trauma) is desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
Teach and support with new life skills to increase independence.
Encourage access to local communities and socialise with peers.
Participate in in-house activities and outings to promote engagement and wellbeing.
