Job summary

PA Ark Projects Ltd and Salisbury Support Services are expanding their supported living teams and seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs live more independent lives. You’ll provide person‑centred support to promote dignity and choice, alongside experienced colleagues, while helping individuals access the community and attend appointments.

Applicants should be compassionate, reliable and motivated, with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Essential: caring, compassionate and patient approach.

• Essential: able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Essential: confident communicator with good written and verbal English.
• Essential: committed to providing high‑quality, person‑centred support.
• Essential: Right to work in the UK.
• Essential: able to commute to Merston, Chichester and Bognor Regis.
• Essential: willing to work alternate weekends, Bank Holidays and sleep‑in shifts.
• Essential: flexibility to work across 24/7 services.

Responsibilities

• Provide person‑centred support that promotes independence, dignity and choice.
• Encourage individuals to develop everyday living skills and achieve personal goals.
• Provide personal care where required with respect and sensitivity.
• Support individuals to attend appointments and access their local community.
• Use positive behaviour support approaches to help reduce behaviours of concern.
• Write accurate daily records and contribute to support plans.
• Work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to provide high standards of care.
