Job summary
PA Ark Projects Ltd & Salisbury Support Services is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead shifts and deliver person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs in supported living settings. You will mentor staff, influence service planning and uphold high standards of care.
We welcome applicants with relevant social care experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to promoting independence.
Qualifications
- Experience in social care supporting adults.
- Commitment to person-centred support.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to work flexibly including alternate weekends and sleep-ins.
- Full UK manual driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Fluent English.
- Shifts of up to 13 hours.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and maintain high standards of care.
- Provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities.
- Mentor colleagues and support team development.
- Assist with service planning and rotas.
- Follow care procedures and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate daily records.
- Support quality improvement with managers.
- Build relationships with families and external agencies.
- Promote inclusion and respectful teamwork.
