Job summary

Corus, recruiting on behalf of our client, is seeking experienced and compassionate Support Workers in Kent to provide high-quality, person-centred support in supported living and community settings.

You will help people live independently, promote dignity and wellbeing, assist with daily living tasks, accompany to appointments and activities, and maintain accurate records while following safeguarding and health-and-safety policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, or Healthcare Assistant.
• Up-to-date mandatory training certificates.
• Practical Moving and Handling training certificate (essential).
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities where required.
• Support individuals to access appointments, social activities, and community services.
• Promote independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion.
• Maintain accurate records and follow support plans.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies at all times.
