Job summary

Corus Consultancy is seeking compassionate Support Workers to provide person-centred assistance to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex care requirements. You will help clients develop independence, access community activities and work toward personal goals.

Applicants should have at least 12 months UK support worker experience, excellent communication, and up-to-date training including moving and handling and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months UK support worker experience
• Experience supporting people with autism, learning disabilities, mental health conditions and complex needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive and proactive approach to supporting individuals
• Up-to-date mandatory training including Moving and Handling and Medication Administration and Swanton Care requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support in one-to-one and group settings
• Empower individuals to develop independence and access their community
• Help individuals achieve personal goals and improve quality of life
• Maintain DBS and Right to Work compliance and document appropriately
