Advance Housing & Support Ltd is recruiting Casual Support Workers in Hampshire, Fareham to help people with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs or mental health conditions live the lives they choose. This role offers flexible hours, full training and a supportive team.

This role provides zero contracted hours across Mon-Sun, including weekends and sleep-ins. Salary is £14.94 per hour inclusive of holiday pay or £13.33 per hour exclusive of holiday pay.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; values and motivation matter.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication with people.
• Ability to complete quality support records.
• Willingness to work every other weekend.
• Willingness to complete Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required).
• Medication administration (if required).
• Support with preparing and cooking meals.
• Support with attending medical appointments.
• Support with social activities.
• Support with independent skills.
• Domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required.
• Keeping up to date with your training.
• Ensuring the premises are secure and safe during the night.
• Supporting with meal times and food preparation (if required).
• Supporting with regular checks on the customer to ensure their safety.
