Job summary

Capability Scotland is seeking a caring and reliable Support Worker for Adult Services in Carluke. You will support adults with complex needs in a warm, home-style setting that promotes independence, dignity and individuality, helping people live as independently as possible and participate in daily activities and social life.

This full-time post (36 hours per week, 3 x 12-hour shifts) operates on a planned rota with weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or a keen interest in starting a rewarding care career.
• Ability to work with adults with complex needs in a person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored one-to-one or two-to-one support
• Assist with personal care, medication and daily routines
• Support mobility and communication needs
• Prepare meals and maintain a safe, comfortable home
• Encourage participation in social and leisure activities
