Job summary

Capability Scotland is seeking compassionate Community Living Assistants to help adults with disabilities live independently in Renfrewshire and Glasgow. Roles involve four-hour visits or longer, matching with individuals for meaningful, extended support across community settings.

We offer rotating shifts, pro rata annual leave, a pension, and funded qualifications. Night shift enhancements apply, with mileage paid for travel and PVG checks required.

Qualifications

• Holds a full UK manual driving licence.
• Flexible and able to cover rotating shifts including evenings, weekends and nights.
• Able to provide person-centred support with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Support medication routines.
• Assist with meal preparation and daily living tasks.
• Help people maintain their homes and tenancies.
• Support communication and independence.
• Accompany people to appointments, education, shopping and social activities.
