Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland Limited is seeking compassionate Support Practitioners to assist individuals in their own homes across Scotland. You will support daily living tasks, including medication, finances, housework, meals and personal care, while encouraging engagement in activities the people you support enjoy.

No prior care experience is necessary as full training and a funded SVQ are provided to help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring nature essential.
• Good observation skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers.
• Ability to work well in teams and alone.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals living in their own homes with daily living activities, including support with medication and finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.
• Engage with service users in activities they enjoy and support participation in hobbies and social outings.
