Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Edinburgh is seeking a compassionate Support Practitioner (Driver required) to help individuals in their own homes with disabilities and daily tasks. No prior care experience is needed as full training is provided, including a funded SVQ.

You will support with medication, finances, personal care and daily living activities while fostering independence and social engagement in a variety of activities and hobbies.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring nature.
• Good observation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in using computers.
• Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in their own homes with disabilities and/or additional support needs in daily life tasks.
• Support with medication, finances, housework, meal preparation and personal care.
