Job summary

Hutchinson Care Homes is seeking a Staff Nurse - Relief to provide high-quality nursing care across our care homes in Northern Ireland. You will administer medications, support care plans, and collaborate with residents, families and the health team to ensure a safe, respectful environment.

Ideally you have RN and NMC registration, plus experience in elderly care. You will join a dedicated team and participate in ongoing training, ensuring confidentiality and professional standards at all times.

Qualifications

• RN qualification with active NMC registration.
• Experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Elderly care or vulnerable adults experience is advantageous.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care including administering medication, treatments, and therapies.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans with residents, families and healthcare team.
• Monitor vital signs, medical conditions and progress; document meticulously.
• Maintain dignity, privacy and respect in all resident interactions.
• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Attend required training and staff meetings; participate in professional development.
• Mentor and support nursing students; ensure up-to-date documentation and records.
