Job summary

Grosvenor Road Primary is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support children's learning under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo. The post is a 1-year fixed term, with potential extension subject to funding; experience with SEN is advantageous and a DBS check is required.

Applicants should have good literacy and numeracy, be flexible, and willing to undertake training. Salford City Council cannot sponsor visas, and a right to work in the UK is necessary.

Qualifications

• Good Literacy and Numeracy skills.
• Experience with children with Special Educational Needs is an advantage.
• Willingness to undertake training is essential; NVQ or similar qualification desirable.
