As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, develop confidence and achieve positive outcomes both academically and socially, in settings from 1:1

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• SEN experience is advantageous but not essential.
• A patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language needs, SEMH and other additional learning needs.
• Deliver targeted interventions and tailored support programmes.
• Encourage engagement, independence and positive learning behaviours.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff.
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and families.
