The Education Specialists are seeking a Welfare Assistant to join our team and support pupils within a classroom setting. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support to pupils, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and included throughout the school day.

Duties include personal care, breakfast and lunch supervision, trips and activities, administering medication per procedures, and working closely with staff to promote wellbeing and participation.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with personal care and individual needs.
• Providing support during breakfast and lunchtime.
• Supporting pupils during trips and community activities.
• Administering medication in accordance with procedures and training.
• Promoting pupils’ wellbeing, independence, and participation in activities.
• Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to provide high-quality support.
