Job summary

Christ Church C.E Primary School in Salford is seeking Welfare Assistants to supervise pupils during the midday break on the school grounds or in the school premises, particularly when weather prevents outdoor activity. This role supports safeguarding and promotes the school values of EXCELLENCE, RESPECT, CHALLENGE and SELF-BELIEF.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children, be able to listen, talk and play with children, and work well within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pupils during the midday break in school grounds or inside the school.

  • Work as part of a team and contribute to safeguarding and welfare.

Welfare Assistant

Required - As soon as possible

The Governors, staff and children at Christ Church C.E Primary School are looking to appoint Welfare Assistants to supervise pupils during the midday break either in the school grounds or in the school premises i.e. during the time when pupils are taking their meal or if the pupils are unable to use the school grounds because of inclement weather. All children deserve the very best and we are looking for someone who is committed to our school values.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Promote and model the school values of EXCELLENCE; RESPECT; CHALLENGE and SELF-BELIEF
  • Be hard working, enthusiastic, caring and inclusive

Christ Church C.E is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
