Job summary

Christ Church C.E Primary School is seeking a Welfare Assistant to supervise pupils during the midday break, both in the grounds and inside the building during meals or bad weather.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children, be able to listen, talk and play with them, and work well as part of a team while promoting the school values of EXCELLENCE; RESPECT; CHALLENGE and SELF-BELIEF.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during the midday break, either in the school grounds or inside the building.
• Support pupils during mealtimes and inclement weather when outdoor facilities are not available.
• Contribute to a safe, caring and inclusive environment in line with school policies.
