Job summary

UKCIL Ltd is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to support an individual in Norwich. The role focuses on maintaining wellbeing, independence and quality of life through personal care, meal prep, and daily tasks.

Responsibilities include monitoring health indicators, assisting with mobility, managing appointments and using digital rotas. This part-time position offers induction, training and DBS support.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or Personal Assistant roles.
• Ability to provide personal care.
• Experience preparing gluten-free meals.
• Respect confidentiality and boundaries.
• Proficient with smartphone apps, calendars and rotas.
• Full driving licence, reliable transport and business insurance.
• Comfort around cats and ability to handle a foldable wheelchair.

Responsibilities

• Support with health, wellbeing, activities, travel and community participation.
• Provide personal care when needed (showering, dressing, hair care, continence support).
• Meal preparation and batch cooking, including gluten-free handling.
• Monitor fatigue and blood sugar, respond to CGM alerts and support intake.
• Assist wheelchair users indoors and outdoors, transport foldable wheelchair.
• Light domestic tasks: cleaning, laundry, bedding, tidying.
• Medication prompts, appointments, diary tasks, and rota planning.
