Ayrshire Independent Living Network (AILN) is seeking a Personal Assistant/Support Worker in Ayr for a part-time, on-site role supporting a 16-year-old. The role includes driving duties, personal care, and helping her engage in community activities while prioritising safety and wellbeing.

Experience with epilepsy and caring roles is beneficial. Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle; PVG scheme membership will be required where applicable.

• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
• Ability to support a non-verbal young person with epilepsy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Health and safety awareness and calm response in varied situations.

Mansioni

• Provide one-to-one support to a 16-year-old living in Ayr.
• Support participation in community activities and maintain independence.
• Assist with personal care when required (washing, dressing, eating).
• Assume safe driving duties as part of the role and use a vehicle.
• Support with lifting and assistive mobility as needed.
