Job summary

GCIL is seeking two Female Personal Assistants to support MM in Glasgow (G20 area). You will work in a small two-person team to provide 2:1 support at home and in the community, helping MM enjoy preferred activities and maintain routines.

Exact hours vary by term time and school holidays, with a rate of £14.45 per hour. Successful candidates will be bubbly, patient and team‑oriented, with care experience preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in care, support work or childcare is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2:1 support to MM both at home and in the community.
• Assist with mobility using a walker, wheelchair and splints.
• Support personal care, meals and independence.
• Accompany MM to social activities, appointments and outings.
• Maintain routines and encourage engagement in activities she enjoys.
