Job summary

GCIL North Lanarkshire in Wishaw is looking for a Female Personal Assistant to provide two-to-one support to a woman living at home and in the community. The role includes personal care, mobility assistance, medication prompting, and helping with shopping and daily activities.

You will work up to 30 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday 9:00am–3:00pm, with occasional evenings. A driving licence is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience not essential; training provided.
• Driving licence preferred but not essential.
• Willing to provide personal care and mobility support.

Responsibilities

• Provide two-to-one personal care and daily living support.
• Assist with moving, wheelchair use, and hoist operations.
• Monitor seizures and follow emergency procedures.
• Prompt for medication administration.
• Support PEG feeding.
• Go out for walks using a wheelchair and assist with shopping.
• Assist with household shopping and personal items.
• Promote independence and participation in activities.
