GCIL is seeking a Personal Assistant/Support Worker to help a man in his 50s in the Motherwell area. The role covers home and community support, with duties including meals, mobility, light tasks, companionship, and assisting with outings to sports venues and town.

You will work around 20 hours per week across 3-4 days, with some weekend flexibility, and £15 per hour. Training provided; driving licence and own vehicle useful.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working within a family-oriented home environment
• Happy around children and a small family dog
• An interest in football, comedy, coffee trips and getting out and about would be a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and supervise meals at home
• Assist with moving around the home safely
• Support with light housework, gardening or DIY tasks
• Provide companionship, chatting, playing cards or watching TV together
• Drive and accompany to appointments and activities
• Go shopping, to the cinema, swimming, football matches or local cafés
• Help plan and structure the day and stay active in the community
