Job summary

ENABLE Scotland in Glasgow is seeking Personal Assistants to join the team at Carbeth House in Possilpark. You will provide person-centred support to help people live independently and participate in activities important to them.

The role offers 38 hours per week across day shifts and evenings, with an hourly rate of £13.45. No care-experience is required as full training, support and development opportunities are provided to succeed.

Qualifications

• Caring, reliable, motivated to work in a care setting.
• Strong communication and person-centred approach.
• Ability to work with individuals to promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to help individuals live independently.
• Assist with personal care prompts and wellbeing.
• Support medication administration where required.
• Accompany individuals on social outings and appointments.
• Assist with daily living tasks and budgeting.
• Promote choice, independence and inclusion within the community.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to achieve goals.
