ENABLE Scotland in Kilmarnock is seeking dedicated Personal Assistants to support individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and reach their goals.

No prior care experience is required; we recruit on values and transferrable skills, then train you to deliver compassionate, person-centred support.

Roles include assisting with daily living, moving and handling where needed, and encouraging participation in social activities and community life.

Qualifications

• No formal care experience required; values and transferrable skills welcomed.
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team to support individuals with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks as agreed with the individual.
• Support moving and handling where required and safe practice.
• Encourage social activities and help expand the person’s networks and connections.
