Job summary

Penderels Trust is seeking a friendly, reliable Personal Assistant to support with household tasks, gardening and accompanying to appointments. You will help with shopping, meal prep, medicine reminders and general homemaking while promoting independence and safety.

You must be patient, able to build trust, and comfortable working in a home with a smoker and pets. A full driving licence is essential and a satisfactory DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Friendly and reliable personal assistant required.
• Must be patient and able to build a trusting one-to-one relationship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cooking, meal preparation, eating and drinking.
• Take medication as needed.
• Help with household chores and homemaking.
• Duties include food shopping, attending appointments, and accompanying to activities.
• Provide support with pets and gardening as needed.
• Ensure safety and report hazards or accidents immediately.
