Job summary

A Personal Assistant is sought for a lady in Wymondham to provide 17 hours per week of supportive care in her home. The role includes shopping, cooking, light housework, admin tasks, and helping access hobbies and groups. A car and clean licence are required, with DBS checks and references as part of the process.

Hours are flexible across weekdays and weekends; bank holidays are paid at double rate. You will join a small, respectful household and help maintain independence while safeguarding

Qualifications

• Minimum care/support experience.
• Car owner with clean licence and appropriate business use insurance.
• Ability to cook hot meals.
• High standards of cleaning and hand hygiene.
• Respect privacy and follow instructions.
• Friendly, calm, quiet, well-organised and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Assist with weekly shopping and food prep.
• Household cleaning and admin tasks.
• Support social and leisure activities and access to groups.
• Caring for the client's cat and vet visits when needed.
• Receive callers and deliveries, manage calls and post.
