Job summary

Disability North is seeking a friendly Personal Assistant to support Frank during school holidays and occasional Sundays in the Newcastle area. The role involves helping him access social and leisure activities and staying safe in the community.

You will need to be patient, reliable, and have good communication skills; car driving is essential, and a booster seat is provided. A DBS check is required, and you must have permission to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support Frank to access social and leisure activities.
• Provide help and support to remain safe in the community.
• Provide reassurance, motivation, and positive support, especially around food (ARFID) & toileting / self-care (proprioceptive / interoceptive deficits).
• Promote independence while offering the right level of encouragement.
• Car driver essential, isofix booster seat provided.
