Wrekin Housing Group is seeking a Housing and Care Assistant (Nights) in Cannock to provide compassionate care and support to residents aged 55+. The role includes nightly rounds, assisting with daily living, personal care and medication management, ensuring safety and security overnight.

The successful candidate will demonstrate empathy, reliability and strong communication within a care-focused team and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive community.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for older adults is preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and follow care plans.
• Commitment to dignity, respect and person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly rounds to ensure safety and security.
• Prepare tasks for the following day and assist with daily living needs.
• Support with personal care and medication management as required.
