Job summary

Belong Crewe is seeking a Care Assistant to join our village style home. You will work with a dedicated team to deliver person-centred care to residents, supporting daily living, dignity and comfort in a warm, inclusive environment.

Shifts are night-based: 10pm–8am or 8pm–8am, with two night duties per week (19 hours) and three nights (28.5 hours). The not-for-profit, values-led organisation offers induction and progression.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Commitment to high standard of care, dignity and respect.
• Experience in elderly care setting.
• Team player, able to work on your own initiative.
• Dependable, able to work under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home.

• Able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the household.
• Provide assistance, personal care, activities and companionship to residents.
• Be alert to residents' needs, health and wellbeing.
• Respect the residents' dignity and privacy.
• Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual.
• Assist with mealtimes and safe moving.
• Maintain accurate records for each resident.
