Moray Council is seeking a Minibus/Bus Driver to provide Safe transport for school pupils and vulnerable passengers across Moray. The role includes operating within D1 licence limits, delivering community and hospital transfers, and ensuring safety and customer care on every journey.

The successful candidate will join a regulated role requiring PVG scheme updates, work flexibly, and maintain vehicle and passenger safety while using on-vehicle ticket systems and route software.

Qualificações

• Must hold category D1 driving licence entitlement.
• PVG scheme membership or update check is required before offer.
• Ability to work as part of a team and meet service deadlines.
• Flexible and adaptable to service needs.
• Ability to operate IT platforms and ticketing systems.

Responsabilidades

• Transport school pupils safely to and from school.
• Ensure pupil safety during boarding/alighting and maintain discipline.
• Transport Disabled, Elderly and Vulnerable adults to community centres or hospital transfers.
• Assist wheelchair passengers and secure mobility aids during travel.
• Drive all Moray Council vehicles within licence parameters and report incidents.
• Complete vehicle checks and maintain paperwork and defect reporting.
• Attend planned training and operate ticketing software to access runsheets.
