Job summary

Health Now Complex Care is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to support a young person in Oxfordshire. You will deliver compassionate, person-centred care for individuals with complex mental health needs, autism and challenging behaviours, helping them feel safe and understood.

The role requires calm, reliable staff who can follow individual care plans, manage risks and work with a wider care team to promote independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience with complex mental health needs and autism.
• Calm, patient and professional; able to manage distress.
• Reliable and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centred support.
• Support emotional wellbeing and mental health needs.
• Develop positive professional relationships.
• Respond calmly to challenging behaviour.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and strategies.
• Escalate concerns when needed.
• Encourage independence, communication and activities.
• Help maintain a safe, calm environment.
• Maintain boundaries and confidentiality.
• Complete accurate daily records and handovers.
• Collaborate with wider care team.
