Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Support Worker for our Blackburn Road service in Lancashire. The role supports adults with diagnosed mental health conditions in a calm, homely setting, delivering person-centred care and rehabilitation activities.

You will build relationships with residents, assist with daily living and communicate with the clinical team. The position is full-time (37.5 hours) with day shifts and a salary of £25,400.16 per year (FTE), pro rata for part-time.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in providing person-centred care.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Experience in the care sector or mental health.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with the people we support and aid rehabilitation.
• Establish communication methods with the people we support.
• Support with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Inform the clinical team of issues.
• Accurately report and record work activities.
