Job summary

Medicare People Limited in Worthing is seeking a dedicated Live-in Carer to provide compassionate care in clients' homes. You’ll support independence with person-centred care, help with daily routines, meals, mobility and companionship, while building trusting relationships.

We offer flexible placements, ongoing support, and a welcoming team. All placements cover Worthing and nearby areas with opportunities across the region; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of UK care experience.
• Kind, caring and compassionate personality.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence working within clients' homes.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and families.
• Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to remain independent in their own homes.
• Provide person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with washing, dressing and personal care.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Help with mobility and daily routines.
• Prepare meals and encourage hydration.
• Administer medication safely and accurately.
• Support with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Complete shopping and other essential errands.
• Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns.
• Keep accurate care records.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
