Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking Learning Support Assistants to support pupils with a range of needs across Swindon. You will assist with 1:1 and small-group learning, help pupils regulate emotions, and work alongside teachers, SENCOs and therapists to deliver structured, engaging lessons.

Roles are available full and part time with a potential September start. You’ll receive Weekly PAYE pay, access to CPD Academy, and dedicated consultant support from Protocol Education.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing needs.
• Willingness to engage with therapists, SENCOs and teachers to support learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.
• Support emotional regulation and behaviour to help access learning.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and therapists to implement plans.
• Help create structured, safe and engaging learning environments.
• Encourage independence and confidence in students.
