Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant for Wandsworth Common Care Home in London. You will help with food preparation, maintain hygiene, and support a high-quality service for residents.

We value compassion and teamwork, with opportunities to develop in a caring, supportive environment and a DBS check funded by Avery. This is a full-time, on-site role at a busy care home.

Qualifications

• Must hold Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
• Able to perform physical tasks and manage workload.

Responsabilités

• Support the catering function in food preparation and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Contribute to team working and respond promptly to reasonable work instructions.
• Assist with ordering and supply of items, ensuring timely replacement goods.
