Job summary

Beaumont Care Homes in Newtownabbey is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join the kitchen team and support the Cook Manager in preparing nutritious meals for residents. You will help maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and contribute to a high standard of dining experience across our care homes.

We’re looking for someone who works well in a team, communicates effectively, and is passionate about delivering quality food and great resident care.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of food hygiene and food preparation.
• Experience in healthcare or care home environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare meals for residents, considering dietary requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen, equipment and appliances.
• Build positive relationships with residents and staff.
• Regularly seek feedback to improve service quality.
• Receive, check and store kitchen deliveries safely.
