Job summary

Beaumont-Care-Homes in Dundonald, Northern Ireland, is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant for approximately 15 hours per week to support the Kitchen Team and Cook Manager in delivering nutritious meals to residents.

You will help with meal preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, build rapport with residents and staff, and assist with deliveries. A positive attitude, teamwork and knowledge of food hygiene are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare all meals within the home, respecting special dietary requirements.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen, equipment and appliances.
• Develop positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors.
• Regularly seek feedback from residents and staff to improve service.
• Receive, check and safely store kitchen deliveries.
