Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant for Abbey Court Care Home in Cannock. You will join a team ensuring cleanliness and laundry standards across the home, following SOPs and maintaining hotel-style service for residents.

The role requires knowledge of safety procedures, compassion, and flexibility to cover various tasks as needed within a care home environment. DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are noted as requirements.

Formación

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
• Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to high-quality housekeeping and laundry service to residents.
• Ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understanding cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials.
• Ensure areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Residents are treated with dignity and respect and their personal space and belongings are respected.
