Job summary

Crovan Court Nursing & Residential Home is seeking a dedicated Domestic to join the team and undertake cleaning duties to ensure high standards of hygiene. The role includes routine housekeeping, laundry processing, and ensuring the home remains a safe, clean environment for residents.

The successful candidate will follow cleaning schedules, maintain equipment, adhere to infection prevention guidelines, and support care staff as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping within care or elderly housing is desirable.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and hygiene protocols.
• Understanding of infection prevention and control policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Clean rooms, toilets, and furnishings; perform deep cleans as needed.
• Maintain laundry areas, process linen and clothing safely.
• Report damage or safety concerns to management and assist with general duties.
• Participate in training and comply with COSHH, infection prevention and safety guidelines.
