Job summary

Leicestershire County Council's Adult Social Care team is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Agent to support the Home First Hospital Discharge service. You will provide advice and information to service users and partners while accurately inputting data and maintaining records.

You will work in a customer-facing role, manage conflicting demands with empathy, and contribute to meeting KPI targets. Flexible/hybrid working options may be discussed, and the role is fixed-term – 12 months.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with direct customer contact via telephone and handling sensitive enquiries with empathy.
• Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Able to work towards KPI’s and service level targets while managing a pressurised workload.
• Able to utilise information technology and learn new information quickly and accurately.
• Highly organised with ability to manage conflicting demands and prioritise work; understands risk.

Responsibilities
