Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Customer Service Agent to join the Home First Hospital Discharge service at County Hall, Glenfield. 37 hours per week, fixed term 12 months, salary £27,717–£29,076 per annum pro rata for part time.

You will provide advice and information, input data and maintain records, and handle sensitive enquiries with empathy while meeting KPI targets. Flexible working options may be discussed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with empathy.
• Ability to work in a team and on own initiative.
• Work towards KPIs and service level targets.
• Proficient IT skills and quick data entry.
• Highly organised with strong prioritisation and risk awareness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, discretion with confidential matters.
• Fast and accurate keyboard skills with attention to detail.
