Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Coatbridge is seeking compassionate individuals to join as Support Practitioners. You will assist people living in their own homes with daily living tasks, medications, finances, meals and personal care, with full training provided including a funded SVQ.

Applicants must hold a full UK manual licence and have access to a car. You will work in a supportive team, helping people enjoy hobbies and activities while safeguarding their wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring nature; able to support individuals with dignity.
• Strong observation skills to identify needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Confidence in using computers.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in their own homes with daily living tasks.
• Support with medication and finances as required.
• Help with housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.
• Provide moving and handling support after training.
• Engage in people’s hobbies and social activities.
