Responsibilities

• Assist with the client’s morning and lunchtime routine at home to maintain independence and support the family.
• Help the client with showering, dressing and personal hygiene tasks.
• Prepare lunch for the client.
• Prompt the client to take medication and supplements.
• Assist with the client’s exercises to maintain health condition.
• Be comfortable helping the client move around (e.g., transfer from chair to wheelchair); some manual handling required.
• Cover for other staff during annual leave.
• Monitor wellbeing to ensure the client remains safe and well at all times.
