Job summary

UKCIL is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support an elderly lady in Colwyn Bay, helping her stay independent at home. The role is part-time (roughly 5–15 hours weekly) with shifts of 3 or 6 hours and pay of £15 per hour. Full guidance, training and a DBS check will be provided.

You will assist with personal care, meals, light domestic tasks and companionship, working as part of a small PA team in a warm, respectful home where dignity and independence matter.

Qualifications

• At least five years of previous care experience.
• A driving licence is useful but not essential.
• Own vehicle use requires business-use insurance.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and helping with personal care.
• Assist with domestic tasks and shopping.
• Provide companionship and support independence.
• Support with mobility and safety checks.
